Designed for both language graduates who wish to become translators and practising translators wishing to gain a formal qualification. Translation Studies has a strong practical element and features units which have a high degree of professional relevance and training, enabling students to learn the basics of staff, agency and freelance translation work. Core Units of study are: Translation Theory and Practice; Specialised Translation Workshops; Research Management, Dissertation. Student will also choose options from technology, language and translation-focussed units.
